ACCESS STATEMENT
The Grange Guesthouse is close (less than 5 minutes walk) to the town centre and bus stops.
Our private car park is level and a parking space close to the house is available by prior arrangement.
There is level, paved access from the car park to the guests' garden at the rear of the house. From the garden, access to the guesthouse is by means of one 10cm step. Keys for this door can be made available in special circumstances upon request to give 24 hour access.
The front door is approached via three, wide, 20cm stone steps. All guests have 24 hours access to the front door.
The ground floor is level throughout and includes the breakfast room, reception and one guest bedroom.
The ground floor bedroom has level access and access to en-suite facilities. The room has restricted room for wheelchair use and some limited mobility would be required to access the toilet and shower facilities.
Landings and stairways have colour contrasting wall décor and are lit 24 hours.
Assistance dogs are welcome in any of our rooms including the breakfast room, however, pets are not allowed in the Guesthouse.
The owners live on-site and can be contacted in case of emergency.
All rooms have cordless kettles and remote control colour TVs.
The Grange Guesthouse has hosted guests with a range of abilities and has a positive approach to special requirements in this area.
