The Grange Bed and Breakfast is close to the centre of Brecon so it's easy to get to on foot. By car it's just as easy, especially as we have our own private parking.

Arriving by car from the east you will probably come from the direction of Abergavenny along the A40. Just before Brecon you come to a roundabout with a sign indicating "Brecon B4601". Follow this road and after 1 mile you will come to a mini roundabout by morisson's petrol station - go straight across. Soon after this go straight across a second mini roundabout and after another 100 yards you will see a chapel on your right and the Grange Guest house behind a row of trees.

Coming from London and the Southern England take the M4 over the Severn Bridge (don't forget the £5.30 toll in cash only!) Exit at Junction 25A and follow the sign for Cwmbran at the first roandabout and then follow the A4042 north heading for Abergavenny. From Abergavenny follow signs for Brecon - then use the directions above.

Coming from the M50 you get straight on to the A40 from the motorway but look out for the exit to Abergavenny soon after Monmouth.... It's easily missed and a long way before you can turn round!

Arriving in Brecon from any other direction has become complicated thanks to the new one way system around Brecon town centre. The easiest thing is to take the ring road around the town and come in from the east as described above. Alternatively just pull into a car park and give us a call - we'll be happy to guide you in!

On foot, from anywhere in Brecon you can see the square tower of St Mary's church in the town centre. Walk to the church and in front there is a statue of Wellington. If you turn to face in the same direction as Wellington then you are looking down "The Watton". Walk straight down this road for 200 metres and The Grange is on the left behind the trees.

Most Buses and coaches arriving in Brecon stop in the town centre close to the statue of Wellington or at the new bus terminus. If you get off at the bus terminus then we are only 200 metres away - walk to the traffic lights, that you can see from the bus stops, and turn left. Head down the hill and then take the first left. Another 50 metres and you'll see us on the left.
